Danish international has been informed by the Blues manager Antonio Conte to return to the Stamford Bridge in next season though his current loan club Borussia Monchengladbach wants to make the agreement permanent from the loan spell. Over the season, the rumour spread that the Borussians willing to play a record amount for the Denmark international but all the time Chelsea rejected that possibilities. And now, they have finally needed him and told him to return to their camp.
20 years old, the youngster started his professional career with the Blues in 2014 and since then just able to make only three appearances where one of them was Premier League match. Later, in 10th July, 2015, the Borussians took him for two years loan and made his debut there in 10th August, 2015 against FC St. Pauli. Christensen made total 31 Bundesliga appearances with them in last season and scored three goals which was too amazing at his age where he is a defender. So, since then, in last summer transfer schedule, the Borussians wanted to make this deal permanent and prepared to give the highest amount for their club which would be almost £21 million.
However, according to the report, the Danish international Christensen is already informed by the Blues manager Conte to return to the camp at the end of the loan spell where he is planning to use him in first team from next season.
Considering the new proposal from Chelsea, the 20 years old defender stated earlier that he has not spoken with the Blues about his future and only he can make his destination. But till now, he is thinking and does not want to reveal it yet while there is still plenty of time. He also cleared one thing that he just wants to keep concentrate to his playing and wants to enjoy it. When he would think it is time, then perhaps makes his decision clear. As stated by the Danish star, it would seems a difficult choice to make and wants to think about it later.
On the other side, the Blues are in need another defender to sign this summer at least to make defensive line secure. To ensure their defense, Conte made successfully his deadline jump and recruited two players. And now keep focusing another two players. Among those two targeted players, he would try to sign at least one player in next winter transfer window which will start next January.
