Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has successfully completed his move to the Manchester City from Spanish side Barcelona in couple of days ago where the initial fee was €18 million reportedly. He just spent two consecutive years with the Spanish side where he arrived at the Camp Nou in 18th June, 2014 from Real Sociedad for €12 million which made him the 4th most expensive selling for Real Sociedad. In two years with Barca, he made almost 70 appearances with them and won two La Liga titles and also Champions League.
Now, finally he moved to the City due his limitation in Camp Nou where in next season he would get poor chance to play where young German goalkeeper is their first choice, So, he wanted to leave the Camp Nou and made his destination to the City. Besides, Man City also offered him as well and he was no fool to reject that opportunity to play under Pep Guardiola.
After he completed his move to the City, he stated that he is very happy to be a part of the historic club and he also knows that the club has also something special. Though, he is a new there but still has got some friends from Copa America. He also revealed that it was too difficult to leave Barca where he spent two remarkable years and won many trophies. However, he would like to take new challenge.
Now, becoming a part of the Citizens, he has got two competitors in the club but recently a rumoured spread that Joe Hart is about to leave the club this summer. So, if the rumour is true then he has left only Argentine stopper Willy Caballero. And, Bravo hopes that together they would win many titles for the club.
On the other side, according to Pep Guardiola, the Chilean is a great, experienced goalkeeper and also has a good leadership ability and they are very happy to get him on their side.
Due to his leaving the club barca, Enrique was in short of that position and almost appointed a new stopper from Ajax named Cillessen who is the Dutch international. He would be the perfect alternative of Bravo and will be a backup of ter Stegen.
