Spain national team midfielder Santi Cazorla yet to be received a new agreement from his club Arsenal, according to the reports. He arrived at the north London in 7th August, 2012 with a long term contract and his transfer fee from his former club Malaga was £10 million. However, his current deal is about to an end which will last till next summer. As usual, he should be offered a new agreement by now but he stated that he will get none by now and eagerly waiting for it.
Cazorla who has spent most of his career with the Gunners and made his highest 128 appearances with them. He also scored 25 league goals with the Gunners so far. Since his arriving at the Emirates Stadium, he has become as one of the most popular footballer in the north London and his fans number is getting heavier. So, he hopes that he will get a new contract soon enough.
Santi Cazorla has started the Premier League 2016/17 season with the Gunners and made almost five league appearances and also bagged two goals this season. He is keen to stay with the north London but he is somewhat worried about new agreement because club does not take any step to extend it yet. Few days back he told the news portal that he does not get any news about his new signing. He also added that he wants to keep focus to play with them regularly because he had almost passed a lots of injury problems. He is very happy with the club and wants to play continue with them.
Since his arriving at the Emirates Stadium, he started to play with confidence and the coach had faith on him as well as rest of the team mates. He played with them a large number of games and also contributed to the victory. So, he thought that he would get another extension deal with them due to his current amazing performances and also he wants that.
Cazorla did not get chance to the first team squad when he started his professional career with the Villarreal. First year he had to spent with B team. In following season, he was recruited with the Villarreal first team squad. Late on, in 7th July, 2006, he joined to the Recreativo for next four years. But, he returned to the Villarreal in next season 2007 and this time he made with them almost 127 league appearances. In 26th July, 2011 Malaga offered €21 million for him and so, he left Villarreal. Arsenal was his sixth professional team and he thinks that the Gunners is the best among all he played with.
