The Big Bash League is currently officially known as KFC Big Bash League due to the sponsoring by KFC. The Big Bash League is abbreviated as BBL also. BBL is one of the most popular domestic T20 cricket league which inaugural season was 2011/12. Organized by Cricket Australia, it is now considered the world’s second largest T20 cricket league throughout the world after Indian Premier League.
The BBL is one of the newborn T20 cricket league which has passed 5th season successfully. Now the time has come for seventh season which will be placed in the year of 2017/18. Generally, a season of BBL runs from December to January in every year. This year 2017/18, it will be the same. Though, the schedule of coming season has not revealed yet but you can find the approximate date below which we provide.

Since the beginning of BBL, total eight teams used to participate here where four of them won the title. Among them, Perth Scorchers is examined the most successful team by claiming trophy two times consecutively where they reached the finals four times. In each season, total thirty five (35) matches played where group stage matches consists of eight (8) rounds. Each rounds contains of four matches. Eight participating teams play total 32 matches in group stage both home and away. Among them top point holder four teams qualify for semifinals.
