Caribbean Premier League is one of the top short form cricket competition in the world nowadays which was also known as CPL T20 or Hero CPL due to the sponsoring reason. The first season of CPL was staged in 2013 under the charges of West Indies Cricket Board and since then, the competition used to staged every calendar year. Total four season of this mighty competition has successfully passed and 5th edition of it is knocking.

# 1. Barbados Tridents: Barbados Tridents is one of the six participants and represents the city of Barbados in CPL. THe team is also regarded as one of the most successful team which won a title of Caribbean Premier League in 2014.

# 6. Trinbago Knight Riders: Trinbago Knight Riders is the most popilar team in CPL which won one title of the competition in 2015. Renowned bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is one of the three owner of the team which represents Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago in the competition.

# Schedule: The complete schedule or the startings date of the upcoming CPL tournament is yet to be announced. But, considering the previous seasons statistics, the tournament will about to start at the end of the June, 2017 which would last till middle of the August, 2017.
# Previous Winners: Total four seasons of the tournament has completed already where three teams won the four titles. Jamaica Tallawahs won the inaugural trophy of the tournament where the second trophy went to the Barbados Tridents. Trinbago Knight Riders won the 3rd trophy where Jamaica won the last or the 4th title so far.
