What happen in Past ? Ireland Vs Pakistan Head to head: Cricket Statistics

Team Pakistan has just finished their test series against England and now they are focusing their next challenge. They will have to play five ODI against the English team but before that they are scheduled to play two one day international match against Ireland. The first ODI will take place in 18th August, 2016. Before the ODI tournament start, you can take a look below where their previous statistics is given.

Pak Vs Irish Cricket head to head

The Green Shirts played against Ireland total six one day international matches where their inaugural fight was placed in 17th March, 2007. Among six games, one was tied. Pakistan won four matches and lost one.

  • Game Tied – 1

Besides ODI, Pakistan did not play any Test against them though they played a T20 match in 2009 with the team Ireland and won the match.

  • 28th May, 2011 – Pakistan Won By 7 Wickets
  • 30th May, 2011 – Pakistan Won By 5 Wickets

Ire Vs Pak

Unfortunately, the Green Shirts lost their first match. By losing toss, they came to bat first and scored only 132 runs with all wickets. Kamran Akmal scored highest 27 runs. By chasing such poor runs, Ireland reached that destination by losing seven wickets. So, they won by 3 wickets.

28th May, 2011, the Green Shirts fought against the Irish for 2nd time where the Shaheens won the match by seven wickets. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field where came to at bat, Irish team scored only 96 runs with all wickets and spent only 20 overs so far. Junaid Khan took four and Ajmal took three wickets.

The third ODI was staged in 30th May, 2011 where Irish was defeated by five wickets. They batted first and scored 238 runs after 50 overs with 8 wickets. The Shaheens scored 242 by using 48.1 overs with five wickets in hand.

Fourth match had staged in 23rd May, 2013 but the match was tied where the both teams scored the same.

In 26th May, 2013, they played their 5th ODI where the Shaheens won by two wickets. In that game, team Irish scored 229 runs and their player Joyce made a century 116 runs. Came to bat, the Shaheens reached the target by spending 48.4 overs. Kamran Akmal scored highest 81 runs for the Asian.

This two teams played their last ODI in 15th March, 2015 where the skipper of the Ireland scored a century but unfortunately defeated the match again. the Shaheens won the game where Sarfraz Ahmed scored a brilliant century for the Green Shirts too and also elected man of the match.

If we consider the highest totals of the players between two teams, Irish player Paul Stirling played total five match and gathered 254 runs which is still the highest total. Let’s take a look below where the top five highest scores have given along with the players.
