The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which represented the Kolkata city, is one of the most favorite team in IPL T20 since the opening year. Though the first three season was not gone well for the team KKR, things are changed after that. In 2011 the team Kolkata Knight Riders come with a new look. They changed the entire set of the squad. This season Gautam Gambhir was appointed as the captain of the team. After that KKR achieved the longest winning record in 14 match. Not only that, they also won the IPL trophy 2 times in 2012 and 2014.
This season the team KKR will be captained by Gautam Gambhir, the most run scorer of the side. He is costing the biggest of 1.8 million US$. He played 37 International T20s and 196 domestic limited overs games and made the scores 932 and 4881 respectively. On his 147 One Day International games he achieved 5238 run scores including 11 hundreds and 34 fifties.
There included the new faces Australian former bowler Brad Hogg and the young star Kuldeep Singh Yadav in the squad. The T2o specialist Andre Russell and South African bowler Morne Morkel also included in the team.
The world’s best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is remaining on the team. He was signed for the team in 2014. This going to be thrice time he plays for the team Kolkata knight Riders.
