They are just crazy about bikes and if it would be a sports bikes just like motoGP racing, then they will be gone mad. There are different kinds of bikes are available in Bangladeshi motorcycle market. Some of them are standard and some are stylish. But, nowadays, just another category bikes are available in Bangladesh just similar of motoGP racing bikes. Though, this bikes are quite expensive and all kinds of bikers could not afford it but these bikes are really great. However, according to the rules of Bangladesh Road Transport Association (BRTA), more than 155cc bikes are not allowed in the road of the country. So, in this segment, number of popular sports bikes are taking over the local market.

# 1. Yamaha YZF R15 V2 – R15 is manufactured by Yamaha company based on India which is regarded as one of the top stylish, sports and motogp looks motorcycle in Bangladesh. Yamaha brought R15 in Bangladesh almost ten years ago and since then it is getting popular day by day. After doing business with R15, Yamaha brough R15 V2 in Bangladesh just couple of years ago. R15 is the top 150cc segment bike in Bangladesh which accurate displacement is 149.8 cc. Yamaha followed R1 and R6 to make this beast. The new version of the bike is water cooled along with 17ps maximum power. The starting system is only electric which has almost 12 litres fuel tank capacity. The weight of the bike is 136 kg which is less than any 150cc bikes. That gives it favour to make speed instantly. According to the different website, YZR R15 V2 gives almost 130 km/h top speed but sometimes, it crosses 140 km/h. The current price of the motorcycle is BDT 4,80,000.
# 2. Honda CBR150R – CBR 150R is the competitor of Yamaha R15 which has come in the Bangladeshi market just after R15. Since then, it is also getting more popular due to speed. It says that the top speed of CBR150R is higher than R15. So, young generation of Bangladesh is very fond of this speed monster. CBR150 which is manufactured by the great Honda company which is renowned throughout the world. CBR150R has two versions named Thailand and Indonesia and both of them are great as looks and speed. This bike is powered with 149.4cc which is also single cylinder along with water cooled DOHC engine. The maximum power is somewhat better than R15 which is 18.28 ps. The top speed of this bike is almost same or somewhat better than R150 which can easily upper than 130 km/h. The current market value of the motorcycle is BDT 4,50,000.
# 3. Suzuki GSX R150 – Suzuki GSX R150 is the latest addition of Bangladeshi motorcycle market which is almost same looked bikes as motoGP racing. Renowned Japanese company Suzuki manufactured this two wheeler and just couple of days ago, the dealers started to sell this bikes in Bangladesh. The complete details of the bike yet to be collected but it displacement consists of 147cc which current market price is BDT 4,30,000.

Suzuki Gixxer SF – Suzuki Gixxer SF is regarded as one of the top sports bike as well as motoGP looks bike in Bangladesh right now though this bike has the air cooled engine instead of water cooled. But, it is completely ok with that and among the young generation, the bike is heavy popular due to price range. The price is comparatively less than R15 and CBR150. However, it is the only motorcycle in Bangladesh with 154 cc. The current price of the bike is 2,64,950 BDT which would be different according to color and disc.
# 5. Lifan KPR150 – Lifan KPR150 is the only chinese bike that getting popular in Bangladesh everyday due to looks and performances. It is also most stylish and sporty bikes as well. China company Lifan built the motorcycle for racing and so, no doubt about the top speed of the bike. Some says, the top speed of the bike easily cross 140 km/h or somewhat less. Firstly, the price of the motorcycle was BDT 2,00,000 but later it is reduced to BDT 1,85,000.
