In 2004, the Suns repositioned Steve Nash, after that immediately returned into playoff contention. In the offseason, they signed veteran point guard Ricky Rubio to a three-year deal and resigned Oubre to a two-year deal, signed Cheick Diallo and Frank Kaminsky.
