The Gunners striker Takuma Asano has successfully loaned to the German club VfB Stuttgart over a season long who was convinced to join there by his Japanese team mate. Earlier this summer, he was arrived at the Emirates Stadium for only £3 million which was the club’s 2nd signing this season. But unfortunately, this 21st years old does not have got permitted to play with the Gunners as well as with the English club this season which things are revealed by the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. So, he is loan to the German side for a season. Before the loan season will end, Wenger hopes that he will get the permission for this Japanese international for next season.
Now, earlier today, he has completed his move to the Reds where he was inspired by his national mate Hajime Hosogai who is already in that squad. So, hopefully he will not be outnumbered there. Besides, he he is now looking forward to take challenge in the German side and desperate to show better performances with the Reds this season. However, Stuttgart usually competes in German top tier Bundesliga but unfortunately last season being 17th in ranking they are relegated to second division 2. Bundesliga. So, now, the Japanese international are in challenge and his task will be to get them back to Bundesliga by becoming top in this second division this season.
Former Sanfrecce Hiroshima player Asano also played in Rio Olympics 2016 with his national team Japan where he netted twice by three times appearances. Now, he wants to score more with the new loan club Stuttgart.
However, by losing him, the Gunners are in need a replacement this summer where the transfer window is about to an end. They have Chilean Sanchez, Giroud and Nigerian Iwobi but short of another one or two possible alternatives. However, they are trying to recruit Lucas Perez from La Coruna but that transfer is not confirmed yet.
On the other hand, the Japanese international always wanted to play with the European club and also got an opportunity to perform with the English top tier but failed to get approved a work permit there though he has received another perfect opportunity and will have to spend his first season on loan with the German side if he will like it or not. But he stated things clear that he is comfortable with his current club and waiting to play with them eagerly.
This 21 years old is playing for Japan national team since 2015 and till now, made only five appearances and scored once against Bulgaria in 3rd June, 2016.
