Almost 20 years old Andreas Christensen arrived at the Stamford Bridge in his youth career and made his professional debut with them in 28th October, 2014. That was just the one match he played for the Blues till now. Now, this summer, after arriving couple of new faces in the Blues squad like David Luiz, his future with them are in doubt now. Perhaps he would never get the chance to be permanent with first team squad in near future. Besides, Conte has not planned to use him now but to want to finish his loan spell with the German club first. However, barcelona which is the current La Liga champion are keen to tie him down and ready to table a bid for him and Barca manager has thought that £20 million would be enough to land this Danish international.
However, barcelona would be great place for this defender and obviously would be a great honour for him to play with their side. He can learn from them many things also. Though, this youngster yet to get any opportunity to play with the Spanish side and so, it would be a new environment for him.
Since the arriving at the Stamford Bridge, he did not get proper opportunity to prove himself but he has got that chance at the Borussians. He has played with the German side 36 appearances and scored thrice times so far. He has also played for the Denmark national team since 2015 and yet to make 8 international appearances with the team.
