Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is desperate to land another striker before closing the transfer window this summer. His first target was Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and offered him the club’s highest £75 million which would be the record transfer but Everton rejected their offer and also Lukaku still wants to stay with them though he has joined at the Goodison Park in couple of years ago from Stamford Bridge only for £28 million. Being refused to buy their former player, Conte has turned his focus to Real Madrid star Jame Rodriguez. Chelsea has offered Real almost £60 million for this Colombian winger.
Though, according to the president of Real Madrid named Florentino Perez, Rodriguez is currently world’s fourth most valuable player and they will not let this player go so easily. Personally, he wants to keep this attacking midfielder on their side.
On the other hand, the coach of Santiago Bernabeu Zidane is ready to let this player go where he wants to make some funds by selling him and willing to spend them to buy right player before closing this window or later. But still, Zidane will not approve to let this Colombian go by offered price. He wants almost £70 million for this winger and if Chelsea will meet their demand, then they would possibly allow him to leave Santiago Bernabeu.
The Blues does not want to waste any time but to start negotiations with vikings about this signing.
Besides him, Conte was looking for Koulibaly and placed £42 million offer but that offer was turned down where Napoli asked for £60 million price for this Senegal international.
Failed to sign any others, Chelsea is forced to land Colombian attacking midfielder at any cost though Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen to this player but they are not desperate as like the Pensioners.
