23 years old English right back has finally agreed to make another extension deal with the Blues, according to the reports. He arrived at the Chelsea professional club in 2011 but unfortunately did not play any competition with them till now but to spend five loan seasons with five different club. In last season 2015/16, he spent an one year loan spell with the Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen. There, he made 31 league appearances and scored one goal.
This is the second extension period of the English international where first time it was extended in 3rd August, 2015 for next three years which will last till 2018. Though, he is not used yet for the main squad but Conte who is the new boss of Chelsea is planning to use him but not this summer. He has suffered from knee injury and currently working to recover from it. That is why he ruled out from going another adventure. As soon as he will regain his form, he would go for new loan spell probably.
Todd Kane who did not get chance in England national team yet but to play England under 19 team squad where he made 8 appearances and netted once but it seems that he would get call to perform for the national team soon enough. He has lot of experiences to play with the different environment and also played well.
After arriving at the Stamford Bridge in 2011, he had to spent his first loan tour with Preston North End in November, 2012 for half season where he played only five appearances. Later on, Todd Kane moved to the Blackburn Rovers on loan where he spent almost one and a half year long loan season. He made with them 41 appearances and also netted twice times. He had to spent two months duration with Bristol City which was his 3rd club. While playing with them, he suffered from shoulder injury which kept him away from game in few days. After recovering from the injury, he get contracted with the Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season where he played 8 appearances and scored also once. He spent his last loan spell with NEC Nijmegen where he played a complete season. Now, he is recovering from injury and perhaps preparing himself for another challenge. Though, he has extended his contract with the Blues so, he might be able to make his career at the Stamford Bridge.
