Wayne Rooney the England’s top goal scorer of all time has been welcomed back to the Goodison Park. After his long time staying at the Old Trafford, the United legend has finally left the club. The 31 years old who will turn 32 in the upcoming October has moved to the club of his hometown by signing a contract of 2 years and the contract will also offer an option of further 12 months after the end of the 2 years and after the end of that, the former England captain is expected to hang up his boots. The attacker receives huge good bye pay off from his departing club Man Utd and the amount is as healthy as £10 million. He will get a salary of £160,000 per week at Everton which is just over half of his previous wage fee at the Old Trafford as the forward used to earn £300,000 per week there. Roo’ will also get two staggered £4 million payments from Toffees as the part of the deal.
The top goal scorer for United off all time joined the Red Devils from Everton in 2004 under the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson and the reverse process is happening now.
