Argentina rejects match against Israel. Many could not accept Israel’s cruel persecution in Palestine, many of those who supported Argentina also might have been anxiously surrounded by a favorite team match. But finally the match has been cancelled.
Lionel Messi’s team had a schedule to play a match against Israel in preparation for the World Cup. But the fans did not want that the team go there to play that match, so there was a strong protest in Palestine. To boycott the game Messi’s team was forbidden from many other places in the world.
Finally, Argentina did the same thing. The last warm-up game has been cancelled. Argentine Football Association vice-president Hugo Moana said that the way Israel is killing people in Palestine can not be accepted.
The head of the Palestine Football Federation, Jibril Rajoub threatened that if Argentina comes to play against Israel in Jerusalem, then the Argentine flag, Messi’s Jersey will burn the jockey. There have been protests in some places in Palestine.
Meanwhile, as part of the preparations for the World Cup, Argentina had to go to Barcelona to face the protest. Calling for the names of Argentine players, Catalan supporter threatened to boycott of this match.
Considering the overall situation, it was logical to override the event, the Argentine Football Federation said. Hugo Moyano the vice-president of the company said that it will be good that if the match has been cancelled. That’s right. What is happening in those places, the way they are killing many people, it can not be accepted as a human being. There is also concern among their players’ families.
The same thing has been heard from the Argentine star Gonzalo Higuain. In an interview with ESPN, he said that they have finally made a good decision. It is absolutely right. To reject the game the team decided that they will not play any other friendlies ahead of the WC.
So after the training session they directly journey for Russia. It will be great for them. They also a friendly schedule before the championship but the opposition was normal team. So they are not interested to fight with them, where the result is known to them. They think the game will not be benefited them. And if in that position any players would get injured, then the result will be negative. So it is the good decision not play any game before the Russia tournament.
