Liverpool reportedly drawn up a formal offer of £7.7 million for Barcelona centre-back Thomas Vermaelen. A Spanish newspaper reported that the former Arsenal Skipper going to be sold out by their present club Barcelona. Liverpool football club shown their interest to buy the Barca backer for upcoming season for requiring bid of £7.7 million. Apart of Liverpool The West Ham United also demonstrated their interest to Vermaelen.
Thomas started his career in premier league as a captain and the key player of Arsenal side. Soon his playing skill made him popular in the world. The center-back left Arsenal for £15 million in 2014 and signed a three years contract with Barcelona.
Unfortunately the setback injury kicks away the defender from the football field. This Injury troubles destroy Vermaelen’s Emirates career and sent him at Nou Camp. But as he reach in the edge of his injury and over come from it, he want back to the premier league once again. Though the three years contract still alive with Barca but Barca decided to sold him at the appropriate deal.
