Marcelo being looking Brazil as the next champion of Russia World Cup. Normally Marcelo’s footsteps in international football is not very smooth, in fact he has been neglected from the national team for many times. On the other hand the Brazilian team’s achievement in the last few years is zero. So they have finalized a mission to forget the past and his goal to see the Brazilian team as World Cup champion.
Real Madrid defender was dropped from the national team last year due to bad relationship with former coach Dunga. Even he could not play Copa America’s centennial year and Brazil thrown out of the group stage in the same tournament in the United States.
Dunga lost his job due to the failure of the drawdown and Tite took over the responsibility of the team. Under him, Marcelo got returned his place. Not only that he led the country in several games. After Returning to the new coach the notable change has been seen. The five-time world champions qualify for the upcoming Russia World Cup as the first team after Russia who got the chance as hosting country. On the other hand Argentina still struggling hard to qualify for the qualification.
Marcelo said on the Players Tribune that he hopes to win the 2018 championship and dedicated that name of Tite. He firmly believed that the work that was done in the team on the basis of its results would be found in Russia.
Marcelo mentioned that he had a last mission. To return Brazil the 2018 championship. The defender really believed that they could bring the flag of Brazil to the highest level if coach Tite would stay with them.
He also assumed that Tite become an extraordinary person. The Real Madrid star also described about the conversation of Tite and him that Title did not any promise that he would take him or not. He only asked him if Marcelo interested or not to play for national team.
Marcelo felt very emotional to get the phone call which was everything for him. He told that was first time the coach phoned him and for that he become thankful to that Brazilian boos. Now he could kill anyone for the coach and it’s only about the matter of a simple trophy. The backman also promised to do everything possible to get the trophy this time.
As a Brazilian defender he did not play so well but as Real Madrid player he has many notable record.
