Mourinho labels Celta Vigo game as the biggest club history

May 13, 2017 by Robert Lincoln Leave a Comment

Jose Mourinho, the Manchester United manager labels the Celta de Vigo game as the biggest in the club’s history. Man Utd, the most successful club in the English Premier League’s history who has also won 3 uEFA Champions league title has never won the UEFA Europa League so far. They are currently at the Semi final stage of the tournament and will host the Spanish side in the second leg of the clash at the Theater of Dreams on the Thursday night. United will miss some big stars due to injury but a first leg victory away from the home will boost their confidences ahead of this home match.

But despite getting an away victory at the Spain in the first leg, the Red Devils’ boss Jose Mourinho is conscious about their opposition. He expressed his thoughts when he faced the media in a pre match press conference and thinks that it is the biggest game in United’s history and adds that Celta will try their best to qualify for the final. So his lads will have to be at their best to beat a side who are full of good players who have the ability to turn the game within a few minutes.

The Special One firmly believes that it is the biggest ever game in Celta Vigo’s history and they will dream bigger than the Red Devils. Jose urges that the oppositions will give their 100% to seal a place in the final at the Stockholm on May 24. Jose also said that it is also United’s biggest game because he doesn’t care how many big games they have played before as the next one is always the most serious and biggest ever game for him every time. The only game Jose thinks more important than the semi final second leg is the grand final of the UEL. The winner of this clash will face either Dutch side Ajax or French Ligue 1 club Lyon in the final.

United are edged ahead before the second leg as a Marcus Rashford strike in the first leg saw them getting a 1-0 victory and a draw will be enough for the hosts tonight to secure a place in the final. Lyon will host Ajax in the another game of the night. Ajax won the first leg with a mammoth 4-1 margin.

Manchester United probable line up : Sergio Romero; Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia; Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba; Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford.
