Breaking Point was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Entertainment. The event was held on the September 13, 2009. It was the inaugural as well as the only edition of the show. The program was presented by Eidos Interactive’s Batman : Arkham Asylum. It took place outside of the United States as the Bell Centre of Montreal, Quebec, Canada got the privilege to host the show. 12 thousands fans went the venue to watch the show live meanwhile the event had 169,000 PPV buys, which was 42 thousands less than the number of buys of Unforgiven 2008 edition. “Still Unbroken” by Lynyrd Skynyrd was used as the theme song of the show.

The show was a supercard at featured more than one main event match. It had actually 2 main event matches along with 6 more matches (total 7 of them were aired). But the show kicked off with a match between Evan Bourne and Chavo Gurrero which was not aired on television where the aforesaid wrestler got the better of his counterpart to secure the victory. The second match of the night which was also the very first one to be televised, was contested for the unified WWE Tag Team Championship. Team Jeri-Show came out victorious on this occasion as Chris Jericho and The Big Show defeated The World’s Strongest Tag Team consisted of Mark Henry and Montel Vontavious Porter. In the very next match, Kofi Kingston successfully defended his WWE United States Championship by defeating The Miz. In the 4th match of the program surprisingly the famous D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) was defeated by The Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase). Kane and Christian also secured their victories over The Great Khali and William Regal consecutively. As it has been mentioned earlier, there were 2 main event matches for the night. In the first one, John Cena squared off with Randy Orton in an “I Quite” match for the WWE Championship and The Champ had the last laugh as he grabbed the title by winning the match. Then in the very last match of the night, CM Punk defeated The Undertaker in a Submission match and successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship title.
