WWE Super Show-Down was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event and WWE Network event produced by the World Wrestling Entertainment. The show was held on October 6, 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Although the MCG is known as the biggest cricket stadium in the planet with an enormous capacity of 100,024, the Melbourne based venue was light up with this blockbuster show. More than 70 thousands fans attended the venue to watch the show live and it proved that there is no shortage of WWE fans in Australia. The promotional poster of the program featured Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Triple H and The Undertaker.

The event was full of actions and ten matches were contested there. The show kicked off with the match between The New Day and The Bar. It was battled for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defended their titles against Cesaro and Sheamus. Charlotte Flair defeated WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Becky Lynch to grab the title. John Cena teamed up with Bobby Lashley to win over Elias and Kevin Owens. The Ilconics had the last laugh over the team consisted of Asuka and Naomi in the 4th match of the night. The 5th match of the night was a huge one, as AJ Styles took on Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship and successfully regained his title. Ronda Rousey along with the Bella Twins won the Six-woman Tag Team match. Buddy Murphy and Cedric Alexander came head to head as the duo battled for the Cruiserweight Championship and the aforesaid wrestler won the match to seal the title. Six-man Tag Team match was contested between The Shield and the team made of Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The Shield came out victorious to prove themselves ruthless once again. Daniel Bryan locked horns with The Miz and achieved the victory against his counterpart to become the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. The main event featured legendary Triple H and The Undertaker as the iconic duo battled in a No Disqualification match which was labelled as the “Last Time Ever”. After 27 minutes’ breathtaking fighting “The Game” Triple H finally won the match as he got the better of The Deadman.
